Although born in Pennsylvania, New Hampshire is the state of my youth. A graduate of Bow High School, I brought the first soccer state championship to his school, went on to attend Taylor University, where I continued playing soccer. After transferring, I graduated from Cairn University with a degree in Biblical Studies, where I played tennis winning from time to time. I then moved to Lynchburg, Virginia to “pow wow” with God. God won and soon became a youth pastor at Bayside Chapel in 2008.
Married in 2009 to my wife Ava, we started spawning kids in 2010 with our first son Landon. Brady, named after the GOAT Tom Brady, and then Reagan Sue to complete our family unit.
After about 8 years of being a youth pastor and with new leadership, I was prayed into church planting by my senior pastor David Ridder. In 2017, I and an incredible team lauched Wellspring Church. It is here I learned the highs and lows of success, failure and leadership. The lessons learned have become the lessons now shared in A Recipe for Biblical Success.
I am still the lead pastor of Wellspring Church. I also serve the Converge Midatlantic church planting efforts and am a part-time missionary for Converge Brazil (the Southern Cone Initiative) serving their church planting efforts. I love all things Boston sports, staying active, dinner dates with my wife, hanging with my kids, and hikes with his dog Bruin.
I'm a very under-qualified church planter with an over-qualified God who started Wellspring Church in 2017. it has been a roller coaster of a journey, to say the least. If you are ever in Toms River, New Jersey come say hello!
Met my wife at American Eagle, Yup I was her boss and she was employee of the month! We have three kids named after greatness; Landon, Brady and Reagan. We are active in local sports, enjoy hiking, and binge watching old school Boy Meets World!
As a church planter, I have a heart for new churches. I serve the Converge Brazil leadership development and church planting efforts. I also serve Converge Midatlantic coaching church planters and leading church planting trainings.
